Using the Very Large Array to search for answers

Today we summoned the gods of science to help us search for answers about Emma. After getting lost on Route 666, we figured we could use as much help as we could get. Thus we headed out to Very Large Array, NM. It was a pretty long drive through some spectacular scenery, however it was a very long desolate drive too. At one point every thing was so quiet and calm that I was able to process a little of what happened over the last month, and I began to weep. It was a good cry. The drive was cathartic, and it reminded me that the journey is more meaningful than the destination.
Once at VLA, we were astounded at the breadth of the array. The size of each receiver is 240 tons and is intimidating on its own. However to see 27 of them spread out amongst the desert is just surreal. Alas, no answers were to be discovered here, but it did put things in perspective.
Tomorrow, we will head to Roswell and then to Carlsbad before crossing Texas to reach Austin. This trip is really helping me clear my head.
